Jujutsu Kaisen is now onto its 11th arc overall, called the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. This has been an intense arc, with a massive character dying in Chapter 236. We won’t reveal that here but with Sukuna attaining a new body, the final conflict between the strongest is nigh. Will the victory be awarded to the jujutsu sorcerers or the King of Curses? One thing’s for certain though, this fight is far from over.

The printed volumes only go up to number 24 in Japan at the time of writing, so reading online is the definitive way to read this one.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Chapter 256 Release Date
Currently, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 256 will likely be released on Sunday 7th April at approximately 3pm (GMT) / 8am (PT) / 11am (ET). Of course, it’s dependent on how quickly these chapters are uploaded. Expect this to be pretty close to the release time though.

How Many Chapters Will Jujutsu Kaisen Have?

What Happened In Chapter 255?
In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 255, we begin with Sukuna realizing Miguel saved Ui Ui with his Cursed Technique. The opening panel features Miguel, Larue, Ui Ui, and Kusakabe. Kusakabe’s being clenched by a large fist and is safe. Then, we enter a flashback involving Larue, Yuta, and Miguel. The two want Miguel to challenge Sukuna.
Miguel says he’s not interested since he doesn’t want to fight someone who can defeat Satoru. Larue argues that Sukuna is bound to get tired, so Miguel can assist Yuji and the other sorcerers with finishing Sukuna off. Miguel continues to refuse the sorcerers’ request and says Satoru should visit Miguel himself and ask him.
Larue takes charge and he and Miguel hold a private chat. Miguel says he doesn’t want to get involved in any strange affairs with this country since he fulfilled the quota given to him. Larue says since they both worked for Suguru, they could mourn him by fighting Sukuna. He believes doing so will instill peace in Suguru’s soul.
This sentiment convinces Miguel to comply. However, Miguel says he’ll only fight Sukuna when and if Yuta and Satoru lose against him and Sukuna can no longer use his domain. Also, he wants Larue to fight alongside him. We return to following Miguel, Larue, and Sukuna in the present. Miguel is thrilled that Sukuna may not be able to use his domain anymore.
Larue analyzes and explains the damage Sukuna sustained on the battlefield to Miguel, exciting Miguel further. Then, the battle between the three warriors commences. While battling Sukuna, we receive critical information about Larue and Miguel’s Cursed Techniques. Then, we enter a flashback involving Miguel, Satoru, and Yuta. Satoru makes some offhand comments about Miguel and his physicality.
After that, he admits he would lose against Miguel in a point-movement affair. Then, we return to following Miguel, Larue, and Sukuna’s fight. Miguel pushes Sukuna against a wall. Suddenly, Choso and Yuji return to the battlefield to confront Sukuna. Sukuna’s shocked that Yuji’s still here. Then, we receive more information on Sukuna’s Dismantle technique and the new palm sign and curse chant conditions he must perform to use it.
Suddenly, Maki returns to the battlefield to assist her comrades. Yuji feels they may all defeat Sukuna. The chapter closes with comments regarding Satoru’s Reversed Curse Technique and Sukuna hitting Larue with a Black Flash.
