Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 259 Release Date, Time & Where To Read

Jujutsu Kaisen: Chapter 259

Jujutsu Kaisen is now onto its 11th arc overall, the Shinjuku Showdown Arc. This has been an intense arc, with a massive character dying in Chapter 236. We won’t reveal that here, but with Sukuna attaining a new body, the final conflict between the strongest is nigh. Will the victory be awarded to the Jujutsu sorcerers or the King of Curses? One thing’s for certain, though: this fight is far from over.

If you’ve been following this manga, you may be curious to know when the next chapter will be released. Well, wonder no more!

How Many Chapters Will Jujutsu Kaisen Have?

It was announced earlier this year that Gege wants to be done with Jujutsu Kaisen by the end of 2024. However, there is a chance that this one will continue for another 30-40 chapters to wrap up the ongoing arc.

What Happened In Chapter 258?

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 258 begins with the narrator explaining how Satoru created a unique reversed-cursed technique Circuit via two Black Flashes. The narrator compares this phenomenon to Sukuna’s intention of using a regeneration method to recover his arm wounds. However, thanks to Yuji’s Black Flashes, Sukuna couldn’t recover his Reversed Cursed Technique.

Next, Sukuna summons his Malevolent Shrine to the battleground. The narrator says it won’t undermine Sukuna’s attack output or scope despite Sukuna overwhelming himself via a Binding Vow. Then, we enter a flashback involving Choso, Maki, Hakari, and others. Choso asks Shoki, Yuta, and Hakari how they compensate for blood when they use their Reverse Cursed Techniques to regenerate flesh.

The three give Choso distinct responses, with Shoko offering him a more in-depth response. Then, Choso brings up a Replacement Training concept and this piques Yuji’s curiosity. Next, Ui Ui informs everyone about his Spatial Transference Cursed Technique and explains how it works. Then, Kusakabe informs Yuji that he’ll teach him the basics of his Simple Domain.

After that, we return to the present, and Yuji executes a Simple Domain technique to combat Sukuna. During this domain face-off, we learn Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine isn’t finished. Additionally, Sukuna can’t maintain it at its pivotal levels. Also, it can’t affect Maki due to her lack of Cursed Energy. Ultimately, Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine will crumble in 99 seconds, so our heroes plan to endure through it all.

Then, we receive several panels of Sukuna attacking Yuji with multiple slashes. Yuji tries his best to withstand it all and succeeds. Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine crumbles. The chapter closes with him performing the same fire-centric attack he used against Jogo during the Shibuya Incident story arc.
