It’s hilariousItIt’silarious that a new Sonic the Hedgehog game came out days before a Mario-themed one. While Sonic Superstars isn’t as glorious as Super Mario Bros. Wonder, both titles will leave you with a smile. Like in other Sonic endeavors, you’ll help Sonic and his allies navigate through well-designed zones to thwart EgEggman’s shadyEgEggman’shady plans.
Each zone has enough beautiful sights, unique enemies, and fascinating twists to keep you invested. Also, secret areas in the game will persuade players to explore its levels fully. These are bonus levels, with interesting awards like chaos emeralds and gold coins to collect. While Sonic Superstars has its faults, it’s a game worth purchasing for your loved ones.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Since Mario will clash with NiNintendo’savorite ape in a few weeks (as of this writing), why not recommend one of Donkey KoKong’sinest outings yet? Much like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze gives players a fun island-themed 2D side-scroller with fabulous defeated enemies and gorgeous areas to explore.
Tropical FrFreeze’s NintendoFrFreeze’sintendo Switch release added more value to the original game. Much like Yoshi and NaNabbit’s characters in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, playing as Funky Kong gives players an easier way to navigate the tough hurdles. This is significant for newcomers, especially small children who have never picked up a controller.
Therefore, if you want another fun Nintendo game to play with your pals, consider picking this up.
KiKirby’seturn To Dreamland Deluxe
Despite the horrid monstrosities Kirby contends with daily, his games evoke excitement similar to MaMario’sMaMario’sames. Like our previous entry, KiKirby’s Return to toKiKirby’seturn Dreamland received an enhanced variant for Nintendo’s latest console. This one came equipped with your usual visual and mechanical upgrades but offers newer content that fans of the original will appreciate.
The new content in question comes as a new epilogue chapter. In it, you’ll help Kirby’s enemy, Magalor, venture through different dimensions. Each carries valuable artifacts to find and enemies to triumph over. This epilogue’s “magic point” process also mirrors the “badge system” in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It allows you to unlock new powers for Magalor to try.
This gives you new ways to experience the game and may convince you to play through it multiple times even after you complete it. Therefore, whether you’re a fan of the cutesy pink hero or the enemies he fights, you’re guaranteed to enjoy your time with this one.
YoYoshi’srafted World
Adding Yoshi to Super Mario Bros. WoWonder’sharacter roster was a genius move on NiNintendo’sart. However, making him the physical embodiment of “e” sy mode” “wasn’t law a favorable decision. While Yoshi’srafted World isisn’tifficult, players will at least experience a pleasing journey centered around this green didino’strengths and weaknesses.
This game also captures Super Mario Bros. WoWonder’smaginative aspects well. It does so through its soothing sound design, artsy environments, and unique and relaxing gameplay loop. Whether alone or with a friend, YoYoshi’srafted WoWorld’shildlike and creative endeavors will restore your memory of what life felt like during adolescence.
NiNintendo’sxplored many creative ways to get people involved in the game development. While games like Nintendo Labo and Game Builder Garage were neat experiments, many fans fell in love with Super Mario MaMaker’soncept. The opportunity to create, share, and play Mario-themed maps from ourselves and others was a joyful experience on the Nintendo Wii U.
Fortunately, Nintendo felt the same and gave fans a delightful follow-up to play on the Nintendo Switch. Like any video game sequel, Super Mario Maker 2 contains more tools and maps for players to tamper with. While it lacks some lovable features of its predecessor, it is worthwhile for what you can achieve with it.
Therefore, if yoyou’reooking for a game that gives the same sensation as Super Mario Bros. Wonder but allows you to put your spin on his endeavors for family and friends to try, check out Super Mario Maker 2.
Disney Illusion Island
Much like Mario, Mickey Mouse is a child-friendly icon. Unlike NiNintendo’slumber, this mouse has been in various forms of media over the years, making him slightly more recognizable. Nevertheless, the two share much in common, like their latest platforming video games. Disney Illusion Island offers players a simple, exciting adventure featuring Mickey and his lovely pals.
Like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Mickey and Hiwho will encounter hurdles through their adventureshought-provoking and action-packed side. Some levels contain nifty should not runners to uncovebuddy’s experience figures whwho’lldd flavor to Mickey and his cocomrade’sdventure. Though the game suffers from inconvenient instances, these issues shshouldn’tuin your or your experience with the title.
Rayman Legends (Definitive Edition)
Rayman is to Ubisoft what Mario is to Nintendo—at least, fans hoped that was the case. Besides his delightful appearance in one of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope’s LC campaigns, Rayman fans haven’t had anything new to play for many years now. Yet, if a Rayman fan were to meet a Super Mario Bros. Wonder enjoyer and one who has never played Rayman Legends before, they would recommend it to them in a heartbeat.
This game has as much beauty, ingenuity, and passion put into it as Super Mario Bros. Wonder does. The gameplay is incredibly fast-paced, thoughtful, and fun. This is perfect for those who value co-op titles that reward you for your collaborative and strategic efforts. On top of the wonderful Mario and Luigi-themed costumes included with the game Nintendo releases, Mario fans will cherish their experience with Rayman Legends.
Yooka Laylee and The Impossible Layer
At some point, former Banjo-Kazooie developers created two creatures named Yooka and Laylee. They strived to rec didn’t produce Banjo, and Kazooie didn’t grievances by giving Yooka and Laylee a 3D platformer title with the same wit, humor, and charm as the bear and names. While it didn’t produce the best results, they didn’t give up and eventually released a 2.5D game.
Unlike the 3D outing, fans enjoyed this one immensely. Similar to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Layer have their playable characters traverse countless levels. Each level is riddled with baddies to stop and visuals ththat’llake your breath away. Besides traditional side-scrolling levels, the game also has a beautiful 3D hub area for you to interact with.
This area has its share of puzzles to solve, giving players more ways to engage with The Impossible Creative universe. Unfortunately, this game doesn’t offer cooperative play, which could be a deal-breaker for die-hard multiplayer fanatics. If yoyou’reilling to overlook that setback, Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Layer shouldn’t disappoint.
Unravel Two
If our previous entry upset you toward the end, then Unravel Two should restore your excitement. This platformer can be played alone or with a comrade. Based on the gagame’sventsgame’s events and gameplay loop, we recommend you play it with a significant other, especially if you love forging new memories with specific individuals.
Anyhoo, Unravel Two features well-designed, often realistic-looking environments. The puzzles can be difficult, though. Thankfully, Unravel Two has an “h” nt” “system that allows you to get by without much hassle. The game also delivers compelling co-op mechanics. For instance, you can ride on your Yarn papartner’sack.
Small additions like these make exploring Unravel TwTwo’sevels amusing and utterly adorable. If you adored Super Mario Bros. Wonder for its fabulous co-op gameplay and mesmerizing landscape and character design, chances are yoyou’llet a kick out of Unravel Two.
Cuphead
Challenging platformer games are relatively easy to come by but can be hard to recommend. Not all gamers are created equally, with some occasionally turning a blind eye to any game with a high difficulty curve. Although CuCuphead’s gameplay makes it a challenging game to play with your kids, it’ll leave them for more difficult titles geared toward older audiences.
That said, Cuphead is a platformer that wreaks passion and imagination, much like Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It has everything a platformer enthusiast would crave, like an immersive hub world with witty NPCs and hard side-scrolling levels with enemies that vary in power, skill, and appearance. In addition to having a jolly, feel-good soundtrack, this game is worth your time.
And there you have it, our selection of 10 video games to keep you entertained once you’re playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Soya notices Hakuri and chases after him. The other Tou members wait and discuss this development. Suddenly, Shiba arrives behind them, asking the two Tou members how to open the door. We receive a flashback panel of Chihiro, Shiba, and Hakuri discussing what we’re seeing unfold in the present. Hakuri reaches a new location, and Chihiro arrives and calls out to him.
Chihiro defeats several guards and tells Hakuri to come near him. Suddenly, a large tree-like obstacle appears, blocking their meet-up. Hakuri contemplates what he should do in this situation. Ultimately, he plans to fight and defeat Soya. Then, we receive a panel that’s set 32 seconds earlier. Chihiro defeats the same guards during this time with Cloud Gouger.
A guard notices Cloud Gouger’s not as great as some say because it’s broken. Then, the tree-obstacle sequence occurs, blocking Hakuri from regrouping with Chihiro. The chapter closes with Chihiro realizing that the guard who pinpointed Cloud Gouger’s limitations is a Hishaku organization member.

What Happened In Chapter 163?
Chapter 163 of Sakamoto Days begins with several of Slur’s acquaintances discussing Slur’s plans and Haruma’s silence. One of the men tells the other to stay quiet since they feel someone from the JAA (Japanese Association of Assassins) might be listening. This person checks a toilet stall and dies seconds later by Takamura. Takamura exits the stall and starts assassinating Slur’s other men.
Meanwhile, Akao (who is taking over Slur’s body) wants Nagumo and Sakamoto to murder them. However, Nagumo disagrees. He suggests that Akao controls Slur’s body for a while. Akao’s afraid she won’t be able to keep Slur in control for a long time. Sakamoto chimes in, stating he doesn’t want to murder Akao/Slur. Akao grabs Sakamoto and argues with him.
Sakamoto tells Akao that if Slur returns, people will want to kill him. However, he says nobody must perish if Akao resumes control over the body. Ultimately, Sakamoto wants Akao to have full control over Slur and live peacefully amongst him and the others. Before Nagumo chimes in, a new alert breaks out across the museum.
Based on the announcement, Nagumo, Slur, and Sakamoto have been designated as wanted criminals. Additionally, the person speaking says the JAA wants these individuals dead because they’re now conspirators against the JAA.
We receive panels of Shishiba, Osaragi, and others’ reactions to this news. Nagumo feels this is the JAA chairperson’s doing. He wonders why the chairman would go to such lengths. Simultaneously, Slur regains control over his body. Before Sakamoto and Nagumo can respond, Takamura crashes from the ceiling and arrives on the battlefield.
The chapter closes with Sakamoto and Slur dodging Takamura’s attack.
